About

CAMBA International Service

Originally, CAMBA focused primarily on services for immigrants and refugees.  In keeping with this heritage, CAMBA has been a key player in a number of international projects.  In 1998, a team traveled to Macedonia and Kosovo to expedite the processing of refugees who needed asylum.  In the year 2000 our Executive Director, Joanne Oplustil, traveled to East Africa as part of a delegation documenting conditions in Eritrean refugee camps.  From 2004 to 2006, CAMBA staff members traveled to Russia to provide technical assistance to non-governmental organizations and promote the development of  civil society.  Through these and other endeavors, CAMBA has extended its reach to help people across the globe obtain their full potential.
