The facility consists of 3 adjoining 4 story walk up apartment houses with a single entrance to the site. The person filling this position is expected, under general direction, to (1) manage one or more programs which require contact with internal and external clients and/or the community; (2) has understanding of all aspects of contract requirements and communicate this understanding to staff; and (3) participate in program design; etc. The minimum qualification for this position is a Bachelor’s degree (e.g. B.A, B.S.) and three years of applicable experience and/or equivalent experience; and the ability to be on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. ASSISTANT PROGRAM MANAGER (CLINICAL), BROADWAY HOUSE WOMEN'S SHELTER CAMBA operates three homeless shelters funded by New York City Department of Homeless Services. PROGRAM SUPERVISOR, ADULT LITERACY PROGRAM PART-TIME POSITION CAMBA is looking for an evening Program Supervisor for its Adult Literacy Center in Flatbush, Brooklyn. The position will be available as of August 1, 2010. BA/BS in education or a related field required. MA/MS preferred. Min. 2 years experience as an adult literacy program supervisor required. Min. 2 years experience with ESOL and ABE/GED Prep instruction, whole language and Freirian methodologies, BEST Plus, TABE, GED Predictors, and ASISTS highly preferred.
