Program Summary:
CAMBA started the Foreclosure Prevention Counseling Program in response to the home foreclosure crisis and to meet the needs of homeowners in Brooklyn. The program offers both group and individual housing counseling. Clients learn about foreclosure and how to protect themselves from predatory and improper lending practices.

Services include:

  • Loan modification packaging
  • Advocacy with the lender
  • Referrals for legal and other services

Individual foreclosure prevention counseling includes one-on-one assistance in resolving a homeowner’s foreclosure or delinquency problem.
