CAMBA's monthly Home Buying Workshop teaches Brooklyn residents about the true cost of buying a home and how to get the best mortgage to finance their purchase. It also provides an overview of the home-buying process---from searching for a home to the final closing---and how to avoid predatory lenders and other scams. Individual counseling is also provided. Workshops are presented 10 times a year and currently serve 30 participants per workshop.
