CAMBA’s REACH (Redirection, Evaluation, Assessment, Career and Higher Education)


CAMBA’s REACH (Redirection, Evaluation, Assessment, Career and Higher Education) training and career development program (since 2001) offers customer service training to out-of-school young adults ages 18 to 21. The program provides an individualized strategy for career development including tutoring, work experience, GED test preparation, customer skills training, basic computer skills training, leadership development, life skills and job readiness training. Additionally, counseling and job placement assistance services and other related services that enable young adults to develop the skills and maturity necessary to become economically and socially self-sufficient are provided. All registered participants receive stipends as well as daily MetroCards.
