Job Training and Placement Services

Since 1995, we have specialized in developing a skilled workforce by offering annually over 1,800 low-income citywide residents, who face employment obstacles a full range of job training and placement services in the following fields:

Security Guard Training: We have trained, tested and assisted program
     participants in meeting the New York State licensing requirements to
     begin employment in this growing field. This program currently serves
     150 individuals.

Customer Service Training: Our training sessions provide skills sets
     leading to jobs in the customer service field, including retail services, bank
     tellers, and the gourmet and natural food industry. This program currently
     serves 80 individuals.

Bank Teller Training: We provide skills training that leads to jobs in the bank
     teller customer service field. This program currently serves 30 individuals.

Fast Track Job Preparation Training: This program provides training in
     English, resume writing and other skills necessary to gain employment.
     This program serves approximately 700 individuals.
