Established in 2006, this program provides re-entry assistance and employment placement to individuals who are returning to local communities after release from prison. Eligible program participants are those who have never been convicted of a violent crime and have been released from prison within the last six months. We place about 60 individuals a year in jobs and provides education, training and supportive services to reduce recidivism, including EarnBenefits, a CAMBA program that provides financial literacy assistance, work supports, tax planning, and on-line application and help with public benefits.
