CAMBA’s Economic Development programs prepare both employers and job seekers to compete in the 21st Century workforce and economy. Our Economic Development Service Area includes CAMBA Small Business Services and CAMBA Workforce Development. Our services promote economic revitalization and growth by providing job seekers and entrepreneurs with the skills and resources they need to compete in the modern marketplace.
Our Small Business Services provide a full range of services from economic literacy to small business development. For entrepreneurs, our services include grants and microloans, individual consultations, entrepreneurial training, networking with community partners, technical assistance and computer training.
Workforce Development services for individuals include assessment, English as a second language for job seekers, job search assistance, job training and job placement. Our training programs help low-income clients obtain low and middle skilled jobs in growth industries positions that offer competitive wages, good benefits, and career advancement opportunities.
Provide technical assistance and microloans to over 250 small businesses
Equip over 1,200 adults and unemployed youth with job training, search, and placement services
Help approximately 350 refugees/asylees achieve financial self-sufficiency within 6 months of their arrival in the U.S.
