Students Getting Organized @ I.S. 68

CAMBA’s Students Getting Organized at I.S. 68 program started in 2002. It’s a violence prevention project in which CAMBA partners with Brooklyn Middle School I.S. 68 in Canarsie to establish a student government. Youth have a voice in the process of creating a student government, a safe school environment, standards of student behavior, and a vehicle by which they can communicate positive messages about and opportunities for socialization to their peers in their school community. Students Getting Organized program currently serves over 30 students at I.S. 68.
