CAMBA AIDP at Expeditionary Learning School for Community Leaders

CAMBA's Attendance Improvement Dropout Prevention (AIDP) started in 2003 and provides attendance outreach services to a cohort of 52 students who have been absent from school between 20 and 75 days the previous school year.  Two new initiatives began in school year 2010-2011 with new partnerships at the Expeditionary Learning School for Community Leaders and at Brownsville Academy.  The new AIDP model, known as Graduate, Prepare, Succeed-New York City (GPS-NYC) focuses on 9th grade students and provides academic support, attendance outreach, counseling and family engagement.
