Juvenile Delinquency Prevention, Choices

CAMBA’s Choices Program will offer an intervention in truancy that will serve youth ages 11 to 15 in the School for Democracy and Leadership in Crown Heights.  Starting in 2008, Choices will focus on youth who are truant, on suspension or at risk of dropping out of school.  Each year, we will provide 50 such youth with individual counseling, small group counseling, training in critical thinking skills, and community-building weekend outings.
