We provide pregnant women and parenting families with case management services focused on improving mother-baby health outcomes targeted to the hardest-to-reach populations – the poor and medically underserved via our Health Programs. Our programs promote the well-being of children by providing developmental screens at various milestones in the child’s life, teaching various discipline methods and helping the family to reach their self-sufficiency goals. This includes helping parents to ensure that their children receive all recommended immunizations in a timely manner.
Our Beyond Hunger Emergency Food Pantry distributes a three-day supply of nutritional food to CAMBA clients who are at or below the poverty level and are unable to maintain a healthy diet.
CAMBA’s Nutritional Outreach Education Program has provided outreach to individuals and families living in Brooklyn who may be eligible for Food Stamps.
The Brooklyn Prenatal Care Consortium, which provides a comprehensive continuum of care for at-risk Brooklyn women of childbearing age, includes a whole range of services including primary prenatal and perinatal medical care, short and long-term case management, substance abuse and HIV specialized care.
