Family Centered Harm Reduction (Grant Funded Case Management)

Since 2000, CAMBA has provided case management services to HIV-positive clients who, due to Medicaid ineligibility, do not qualify for Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA) services.  Clients whose income exceeds a statutory threshold, as well as those who lack legal immigration status, are ineligible for Medicaid and, consequently cannot receive COBRA case management services.  Grant Funded Case Management services include social/recreational activities, emergency assistance, weekly support groups, individual counseling, advocacy for entitlements and medical services, and access to housing.
