CAMBA's Evidence Based Interventions program started in 2007 and provides program services to at least 100 clients annually through the two Evidence Based Interventions: WILLOW (Women Involved in Life Learning from Other Women)---a four-session social-skills building and educational intervention for women living with HIV who are 18-50 years old and of any ethnic or racial group; and Healthy Relationships---an interactive five-session, small-group intervention for men and women living with HIV/AIDS which aims to build coping skills to reduce stress. This program targets people of color in the following transmission risk categories: injection drug users (IDUs), gay, lesbians, heterosexuals, women, chemically-dependent individuals and those with mental illness. The program seeks to change behaviors associated with safer sex and disclosure to family/friends and sexual partners.
