We provide comprehensive prevention programs for individuals with HIV/AIDS which focus on preventative measures for infectious diseases. Additionally, we address infectious diseases associated with drug use, the adverse effects of alcohol and drug abuse and the availability of substance abuse intervention and supportive treatment programs. Our staff conducts regular educational workshops and group sessions aimed at reducing clients' risk of re-infection and transmission of HIV.
Through CAMBA trained peer counselors, we disseminate prevention information and engage people at risk. Educational workshops and risk reduction interventions are provided through group and one-on-one meetings. Participants also receive supportive services and referrals to medical and appropriate social services.
