Atlantic House Men’s Shelter started in 2003 in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn. The CAMBA shelter provides temporary emergency housing in a safe, supportive and drug-free facility for 200 single men, at any given time (350 over the course of a year), who are dually diagnosed with mental illness and substance abuse.
