CAMBA’s Flagstone Family Center (FFC), which started in October 2008, is a family shelter and is part of the CAMBA Family Shelter Services Division. The Brooklyn CAMBA Cluster (BCC), which is a scattered site family shelter, falls under FFC. FFC staff provides services independently to the clients residing at FFC facility. BCC facility staff provides their services independently to BCC families including ongoing case management, monitoring of active ACS cases, family referrals to preventive services, insuring DOE contact and assisting with intervention, permanent housing, crisis intervention (emergency food, clothing, psychiatric services, carfare and supportive services) for any BCC family in need. The primary goal is to assist Neighborhood Cluster Program (NCP) families to become stabilized through securing active benefits, employment and searching for permanent housing and securing a better quality of life when returning to the community.
