Eviction Prevention Unit

CAMBA's Eviction Prevention Unit started in 1991 and is located on-site at the Bushwick Job Center/Center 66 in Brooklyn.  It serves 1,500 permanently housed families per year who are at risk of losing their housing through eviction.  Client advocates help families stabilize their housing and financial situations by providing benefits, advocacy and referrals to legal services that will help them resolve problems with government benefits and housing.
