(REAP) Relocation and Employment Assistance Program


CAMBA’s REAP started in 2003 and assists families and individuals in the New York City shelter system relocate to permanent housing.  Individuals and/or families requesting services must be a resident of a New York City DHS shelter within the five boroughs and must be certified for a housing subsidy.  CAMBA is the lead agency with sub-contracts with Women’s Housing and Economic Development Corp. (WHEDCO) in the Bronx and Ecumenical Community Development Organization (ECDO) in Manhattan.  The program assists more than 750 families relocate to permanent housing.
