880 Willoughby

CAMBA’s 880 Willoughby opened in June of 2008 and is a supportive housing development.  Apartments provide permanent affordable housing and supportive services for 99 formerly homeless and low-income working individuals.  All of the units at 880 Willoughby are fully furnished and beautifully appointed studio apartments with private bathrooms, kitchenettes and hardwood floors.  880 Willoughby is located close to major public transportation and neighborhood amenities.  24-hour front desk coverage is provided and there is an outdoor garden and patio for tenant use.

The goal of 880 Willoughby is to provide an array of supportive services including but not limited to on-site case management services, monthly home visits, providing linkages between outside agencies and tenants, psycho-educational workshops, group counseling, recreational activities and assisting tenants with goal setting.  Assessments are completed within the first 30 days of tenants' arrival to permanent housing at 880 Willoughby and goals are developed at this time.  Case Managers monitor achievement of goals along with the tenant on a continual basis.  Reassessments are completed biannually.

Social services are on site Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. 24/7---security is provided.  The Site Director is on call 24/7 for medical and psychiatric emergencies.
