The CAMBA Economic Development Corporation (CAMBA EDC) is a federally certified Community Development Financial Institution that was founded in 2000.  CAMBA EDC offers micro-loans to entrepreneurs who have strong business ideas, but who lack access to adequate financing.  Loans are available in amounts from $500 to $15,000.  Additional services include entrepreneurial training classes and business consultations.  Since its inception, CAMBA EDC has provided start-up or expansion capital to over 66 small businesses throughout New York City.
