CAMBA's HomeBase Program is seeking an Assessment Specialist (Brooklyn location). CAMBA's HomeBase Program provides case management and essential services to at-risk individuals and families in Brooklyn and Staten Island to prevent homelessness. Individuals and families receive services that help them overcome problems with public benefits, housing, education, health care and other issues that could impede their ability to maintain stable households.
Key Responsibilities Include:
MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) and one year of applicable experience and/or equivalent experience
Familiarity with NYC public benefits and housing subsidies, experience in communicating and working successfully with people from a broad range of socio-economic and cultural backgrounds, and ability to multi-task and adapt to change are highly preferred.
