Atlantic House Men’ s Shelter
located in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn serves 200 single men at any given time. The majority of these clients are dually diagnosed with mental illness and substance abuse.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The person filling this position is expected, under general direction, to ensure the smooth day-to-day running and supervision of recreational program staff and services in accordance with program goals, targets, and performance outcomes and all CAMBA and program policies, procedures, and protocols.
MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree (e. g., B.A., B.S.W.) and two years of applicable experience and/or equivalent experience. Licensed Master’s degree in Art Therapy preferred. (A license is required of these Master's Degrees: Social Work (LMSW or LCSW), Mental Health Counseling, Counseling/Guidance, Art Therapy).
