CAMBA’s Magnolia House located in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn serves 200 single women at any given time. The majority of these clients are diagnosed with mental illness, some dually with chemical addictions as well.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The person filling this position is expected to ensure the smooth day-to-day running and supervision of recreational program staff and services in accordance with program goals, targets, and performance outcomes and all CAMBA and program policies, procedures, and protocols.
MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience. Licensed Master's degree in Art Therapy preferred. (A license is required of these Master's Degrees: Social Work (LMSW or LCSW), Mental Health Counseling, Counseling/Guidance, Art Therapy).
May be required to become First Aid/CPR certified.
May be required to become certified in overdose prevention.
