CAMBA Cornerstone Programs

  • Are run in vibrant, multi-generational community centers
  • Are run out of NYCHA Community Centers
  • Offer a mix of social services, recreational, and educational activities
  • Provide opportunities for community building and social activities
School Year Hours: Monday to Friday, 2-6 p.m. Saturday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
School Year Evening Hours: Monday to Friday, 6 p.m.-10 p.m.

Part-time positions are available in the following locations:

  • Brownsville/Ocean Hill
  • Bedford Stuyvesant
  • Flatbush
  • East New York
  • Sheepshead Bay


Group Leader

  • Current undergraduate student or Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience.
  • Have experience working with youth.
  • Plan and execute fun and engaging activities, create opportunities for discovery learning, adventure, and recreation.
  • Candidates who specialize in Dance, Step, Sports, STEM, Computers and the Arts are encouraged to apply.

 
Group Worker

  • Current high school student.
  • Have experience working with youth.
