Supervisor I (Subsidy Supervisor), Homeless Prevention Initiative (HomeBase)

HomeBase- is a CAMBA program that provides case management and essential services to those at-risk individuals and families in Brooklyn and Staten Island to prevent homelessness.  Individuals and families receive services that help them overcome problems with public benefits, housing, education, health care and other issues that could impede their ability to maintain stable households.

In this role, you will ensure the smooth day-to-day running and supervision of program-related staff and services in accordance with all program goals, targets, and performance outcomes and all CAMBA and program policies, procedures, and protocols; including the following:

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising, training, coaching, motivating and counseling direct reporting staff to excel.
  • Designing, conducting and overseeing financial stability workshops and 1:1 financial coaching sessions; and ensuring referrals are made as appropriate to financial counseling and employment services.
  • Responsible for reviewing, approving, coordinating, documenting, tracking and tallying all financial transactions specific to location and funding streams.
  • Ensuring all client and program records are kept in compliance with funder's standards and implement CAMBA internal Quality Assurance protocol.
  • Providing all required information for weekly/monthly/quarterly/semester/annual reports to CAMBA management and/or to funders.


Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience.

  • Ability to design and implement innovative programs and organizational systems
  • Familiarity with NYC public benefits and housing subsidies a plus​
