Program Summary: CAMBA’s Victims Assistance Program (VAP) serves victims/survivors of domestic violence, rape/ sexual assault, and other violent crimes. Services include:
VAP currently serves 130 new clients annually and provides services to an average of 250 callers per year. With support from the NYC Council, CAMBA also provides psycho-educational workshops and groups on the dynamics of domestic violence to an additional 35 participants annually.
Additionally, CAMBA provides counselors on-site at the Brooklyn Family Justice Center, where essential advocacy, case management, and criminal and civil legal assistance are all provided under one roof to 80 victims/survivors of domestic violence annually.
