Program Summary: CAMBA’s Healthy Families Home Visiting Program follows the evidence-based voluntary home visiting model designed to provide supportive services to families that begin prenatally, at birth, or enroll with infants less than 3 months through age five. Through periodic home visits, CAMBA promotes positive parent-child interaction that prevents child abuse, neglect, and other adverse childhood outcomes that can cause development delays. We also connect families with medical providers for prenatal/wellbaby visits and immunizations and provide information on prenatal care, parenting, infant and child development, and child health. Our services are offered in English, Haitian Creole and Spanish.

Eligibility: Pregnant women and new mothers (with infants less than 3 months old) living in the following Brooklyn zip codes: 11226 and 11223.
Clients Served Annually: 230
Referrals Accepted: Yes

This program is funded by the NYS Office of Children and Family Services and the Fund for Public Health of New York.
