Program Summary: CAMBA’s Eviction Prevention Unit (EPU) is located on-site at the Bushwick Job Center/Center 66. Client advocates help families stabilize their housing and financial situations by assisting clients in applying for the FEPS (Family Eviction Prevention Supplement) subsidy as well as CITYFEPS Rent Supplement Program for DHS Shelter clients or individuals at risk of entering the shelter, benefits advocacy, assistance in understanding and navigating the housing court process, referrals to legal services and other services to help them stabilize their housing.
 
Eligibility: Currently receiving FEPS subsidy OR ALL of the following: Has an active housing court case, a minor child in household AND earns less than 200% of Federal Poverty Level
Clients Served Annually: 1,500
Referrals Accepted: Yes
 
This program is funded by the NYS Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance and the NYC Department of Homeless Services.
