Thank you to everyone who made CAMBA Casino Night Out 2016 such a huge success!
We couldn't have done it without the generosity of our sponsors, the dedication of our staff and the determination of our clients to grab opportunities to change their lives.
We were delighted to honor two wonderful partners at this year’s event:
JPMorgan Chase will be honored for its exceptional leadership in business and affordable housing development. Chase partnered with us on Affordable & Supportive Family Housing at Van Dyke and has supported CAMBA’s work in the community for more than 30 years.
The Making Brooklyn Better Award will be given to Barry Smith, MD and the Rogosin Institute. Rogosin is one of the nation’s leading centers for kidney disease. It has several locations in Brooklyn and will be opening a new center in East New York in 2017. The Institute and CAMBA recently partnered to create a new computer lab at CAMBA’s Kensington Family Shelter, thanks to Rogosin’s donation of computers and technical assistance.
Watch "CAMBA Housing Ventures: Part of the Solution," the video that premiered at this year's event, which shows how CAMBA Housing Ventures builds its affordable, supportive and sustainable housing for people in need.
